ProfileMaker 5 Editor helps guide you through the process of editing all types of profiles, including multi-colour profiles. You can define up to 3 profiles - input, output and simulation, and can edit lightness, contrast, saturation, white point, and any point on the gradation curve. Direct editing of gray balance allows you to quickly and easily fine-tune your profile.
To achieve the most accurate proofing simulation, edit white point values using familiar CMYK or RGB values with the Workflow White Point editing feature. Selective colour correction allows you to precisely define and edit a specific colour or range of colours. Simply define the center point and then individually select upper and lower limits for L, C and h. To see the effects of the edits you have made, open any image and apply the edited profile - all from within the ProfileEditor application.
Updating profiles based on measurement of a limited number of patches saves time versus remeasuring the entire test chart and making a new profile. You can view and compare the gamut of different profiles in 2 or 3 dimensions - giving you a better sense of the colours each device is capable of imaging.
