Both are sealed lead-acid batteries, noted for robust and trouble-free performance and none of the memory limitations that plague alternative types. For added convenience, and no surprises while shooting your job, Pioneer batteries feature a charge level indicator that shows the state of charge at all times. They are also voltage-stabilised to +/- 1% with overcharge protection.
S1 2.5Ah Battery The smaller of the two batteries, the SI is by far the most popular. It weighs in at 2kg (4.4 lbs.) and delivers 210 shots per charge at full power with an impressive recycle time of 2.9 seconds.
