The Satin Matte papers are a 100% cotton rag substrate media and features a rich, satin matte surface that unlike some matte surface papers, is not a "dead" or "flat" matte.
The Satin Matte is avaliable in two different base tones, a non-brightened, neutral base that is not the usual dull yellow found on many of the non-brightened , fine-art papers on the market. The second base-tone is a slightly optically-brightened, yet archivally proper white base that is elegantly subtle while still adding the "punch" from which some images really benefit.
