never loses its symmetry, in portrait or landscape modes.
With the EIZO ColorNavigator? Software, the brightness can be
adjusted between 30 and 120 cd/m2, the colour temperature between
4000K and 10,000 K and the gamma value between 1.0 and 2.6. With
a spectrophotometer or Colorimeter the calibration is fully automatic
and after just 2 minutes the LCD screen shows a colour calibrated
picture.
The colour reproduction is controlled via an internal 10-Bit-Look-Up-
Table (LUT). A more exact gradation of colour than with the usual 8-
Bit-LUTs is achieved. That is, the colour control takes place with
1024?
(30 bits) instead of with 256? (24 bits) gradation, which is necessary
for
the exact calibration.
For the rendition of dark tone values EIZO has developed a 14-bit
microprocessor. This is 16 times more accurate than 10-Bit. The result
is a much greater degree of colour detail, in dark areas and
shadows.
In order to be able to fine tune for colours of printing papers or
colour
deviations in lighting, ColorNavigator makes it possible to manually
adjust saturation and intensity of all six basic colours (RGBCMY)
including white balance and gamma can be controlled
separately.
A resolution of 1600 x 1200 pixels, a contrast of 550:1 and a
brightness of 250 cd/m2 results in a first-class image quality with
clear
images and sharp text outlines result. An evenly high contrast of
colours and grey tones is displayed even at the panel
corners.
Without auxiliary software and performance loss, images in portrait
and landscape format can be processed and displayed. The screen
has an integrated gravitation sensor, which automatically detects,
when the screen is in landscape or portrait format.
Dual DVI-I-inputs permit the simultaneous connection of two
computers. The input type is automatically detected.
