Much like the ProTwin, the Profoto Acute/D4 Twin doubles the performance of a normal head, resulting in either shorter flash duration when used with a single generator or faster recycling/higher power, when used with two generators. The Acute/D4 Twin can produce flashes up to 9600 Ws with two Profoto D4 4800 and up to 1200 Ws when used with two AcuteB 600 generators .
Profoto has designed the heads in such a way that the reflectors are possible to slide back and forth on the head allowing you to zoom on and out or to "paint" with the light.
