Advanced 6.0 Features:
- SCC (Selective Colour Correction) can operate up to four layers with each layer having its own independent color correction. Four objects comprising the same initial RGB value can now be treated as different colors. This allows you to easily make complex color corrections.
- SRD (Smart Removal of Defects) automatically recognizes dust and scratches. Tough scratches that cannot be removed using the normal settings can be handled in another layer or by using the Expert mode.
- SC2G (Selective Color to Gray) lets you control the way colors convert into shades of gray.
- ACR (Adaptive Color Restoration) helps to reduce the effects of the aging process by restoring faded colors to old negatives.
SilverFast is designed to operate using the full bit-depth of the scanner and can ouput edited images as either 24-bit or 48-bit color and 8-bit or 16-bit grayscale. This high-end scanning and imaging software is compatible with Mac OS 9.x and OS-X, Windows 95, 98, 2000, NT and XP. *Includes IT8 Calibration Target.
