The portable hard disk recorders are conceived for numerous DV and HDV handheld cameras - nowadays a very helpful solution, with a new recording technology. Till now the FireStore was mounted directly to your camcorder or clipped to your belt.
The Box-Fs is a very good solution to skillfully attach the FireStore below the camera. And the camera together with the FireStore holder can still be used as a handheld camera or fastened to the tripod.
On the top side the Box-FS has a pin and a ¼ “ screw, that is to be fastened under the camera. As is the case with a tripod plate, the screw must be tighten to secure the Box-FS under the camera tightly.
On the underside of the FireStore holder there are two mounting devices for tripod plates (hole and ¼ “ thread), so it can be fixed to any tripod.
Should you want to work without a tripod, the Box-FS serves as an additional brace surface and at the same time provides protection for the camera.
The pin on the side unlocks the drawer. The FireStore is put into the drawer, the bearing surface is gummed, preventing the hard disk recorder becoming scuffed.
