The 503CW has been custom built around the classic 503 camera with its range of high performance, central shutter based lenses. The addition of a high-end 16 megapixel back with a sensor that is 50% larger than full frame 35mm DSLRs - aesthetically integrated with the rest of the camera - turns this classic camera into a digital workhorse. Classic retro features round off the package.
This special anniversary camera is being produced in a limited series of 500 cameras featuring special retro design features and Victor Hasselblad's engraved signature.
The FREE 40mm lens is an extreme retrofocus lens with 88° diagonal angle of view. The design incorporates floating lens elements (FLE) providing superb image quality at all focusing distances. Suitable applications are advertising, interior, industrial, aerial, landscape and wedding photography.
