At the heart of the FinePix S5 Pro is the Real Photo Processor (RPT) Pro, with two levels of noise reduction coupled to an improved Super CCD SR Pro. Its Super CCD SR Pro provides 400% greater dynamic range with 6.17 million Standard (S) pixels and 6.17 million Range (R) or highlight pixels working together, much like the silver crystals in film do. The S5 Pro also provides a post-capture ten face zoom function with Fujifilm's exclusive Face Detection ( fd ) technology designed to reduce time spent confirming sharpness and detail in a subjects face.
