The Leaf Aptus 65 is like the first supersonic jet. It marks the paradigm shift in digital imaging, being one of the first backs to rival large format film.
With a full-frame 44x33mm Dalsa CCD containing 6,144 x 4,622 pixels you are able to capture a 16bit RAW file only 53mb (31mb using lossless compression) in size. This becomes a 80MB file when processed to a 8bit tiff. The Leaf Aptus 65 also features an extended ISO range from 50 - 800.
The Leaf Aptus 65 is compatible with all commonly used medium and large format cameras. With an Aptus 65 your Medium format camera has the ability to create an image better than a 4x5 piece of sheet film, and give your large format camera the speed of a DSLR. The industry leading 6x7cm LCD gives you a gateway to control all the functions of the camera by touch or scrolling a jog wheel. Rename your files, gray balance and create custom shooting profiles all at a touch.
Where does is it all go? With the Leaf Aptus 65 you can capture to Leaf's 20 or 30 Gb Digital Magazines, Compact Flash, powered hard-drive or tethered to your desktop computer. You also have the flexibility to process your uncompressed files with either Leaf Capture or a Mac or PC with Adobe Photoshop CS or higher.
