How it WorksA manufacturer warranty only covers equipment for a limited time - normally 1 year. However, for peace of mind, it is important to cover all eventualities by extending the warranty period . If one is operating as a business, it would be prudent to cover the camera for the length of the write-off of the equipment, to protect the investment. This is especially true for today's digital cameras; not because they break more easily, but because they cost far more to repair.
With the Calumet/Mack warranty, you have the benefit of being able to handle any warranty claim online, there is no need to visit our showroom, and you have ease of access at any time, and anywhere in the world.
To purchase a warranty there must be at least 95 days of the original manufactures warrantee left. The Mack warranty comes into force the day after your manufacturers guarantee expires.
Once you have purchased the warranty you will receive a warranty card together with your invoice, all you have to do then is to register it online at To arrange a repair, go to www.mackcam.com, select 'Extended Service' then 'International Service' and you will find easy to follow steps explaining how to send the unit for repair.
