Nikon has unveiled the amazing new D4 with features that will take photography to a new level.

The 16.2MP full-frame sensor shoots up to 11fps and delivers fantastic image quality even in darkness. The high ISO sensitivities are capable of delivering quality unrivalled by any other Nikon with low noise and a wide dynamic range. Challenging light conditions? not anymore!

Nikon have no desire to compromise on performance and their super-charged EXPEED3 image processing engine is able to make light work of data-heavy tasks. However, speed and quality have not been sacrificed and photographers will still have speed and quality at their fingertips with the 16-bit image processing and 14-bit A/D conversion, delivering rapid performance.

High quality HD video offered in the Nikon D4 allows for movie shooting at its best for professionals whose workflow demands video. It’s large format movie shooting at its best, with a comprehensive variety of frame rates the D4 offers amazing flexibility.

The autofocus sensor module and algorithms significantly improve low light acquisition sensitivity capabilities down to -2 EV (ISO 100, 20°C/68°F). All 51 AF sensors, of which 15 are cross-type sensors, are fully responsive with any AF NIKKOR lens f/5.6 and—for the first time—this superb performance does not end at f/5.6 apertures. The Nikon D4 is able to follow subjects using improved 3D-subject tracking - great for smaller subjects and fast-moving objects. Powerful AF sensors are compatible up to f/8, just perfect for shooting sports and wildlife.

The Nikon D4 has time-lapse movies, refined colour temperature control and HDR capabilities in one shutter release and images and movies can be edited in camera while still out shooting.

The D4 is certainly a camera for every purpose, fast, broadcast quality video, rapid data processing, accurate, high quality and extremely versatile.
